West Pymble Bowling & Sports was established in 1960 as a neighbourhood bowling club. It has developed into a community club providing a local meeting venue for various local groups, as well as being a premium site in the area to hold inexpensive functions.

The club and grounds are situated at the entrance to the West Pymble Bicentennial Park, surrounded by bushland. Visit us at 2 Prince of Wales Drive, West Pymble, only meters from the intersection of Ryde Road & Loftberg Road.

Barefoot Bowling at WPBC

Dayling Saving Time is now in effect, so come and play barefoot lawn bowls every Friday and Sunday from 3pm - 7:30om. Win great prizes. Make up a team and come and have some fun. Boolings can be made by phoning (02) 9498 3135. Drinks and Bar snacks are available.

Our social bowls competition is held every second Friday from 6pm, ideal for beginners, anyone can win! Bring along some friends for and a fun-filled Friday night or come along and join a group. Friday is also a great night to have dinner in the Kookaburra Bistro (Fri & Sat).

Barefoot bowls is now available at most other times too. You can organise private groups or hire for your social events. What better way to enjoy your time outside than bare foot on our immaculate greens.

Barefoot Bowling is a growing pastime and can be included as part of all types of functions - Social Days, Corporate Functions, Team Building, Birthdays, Celebrations & Juniors/Schools Events.

Free coaching is available at times to suit to help new players start into the game. One of our coaches will happily spend some time with you, provide bowls for you to learn with and give you the opportunity to see if it is the game for you.

Bowls is a great way to meet people - for social days you just enter your name and you will be placed in a team by our selectors. The teams vary greatly from week to week, thus giving you a chance to get to know most other members of the Club. 

Bowls is a top game which is experiencing a large surge in popularity, due in no small part to the coverage it is receiving on television. Whereas bowls was being regarded as the sport for retired folk, the younger age of many of the champions has brought the realisation that it is a challenging sport for people of all ages.

50 Year History

WPBC celebrated it's 50th year of service to the local community in 2010. October was the focus of our festivities, with many planned events. Become a member and help us continue the success of the West Pymble Bowling and Sports Club, where you are always welcome.
